First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This pilot study tests a non-invasive ear stimulation method (taVNS) to see if it can improve attention and memory in veterans with traumatic brain injury (TBI), depression, or PTSD. Thirty veterans will each receive both active and sham stimulation in one visit while performing computer-based attention tasks. The goal is to determine if this gentle, surgery-free approach could help ease cognitive symptoms.
