Summary
This study tested a non-invasive device that gently stimulates a nerve in the ear to see if it can lower stress and distress in university students. Forty students with high stress levels received either real or fake stimulation for five short daily sessions. Researchers measured changes in stress and distress right after treatment and again one month later.
