NCT ID NCT06128252

First seen Jun 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding the supplement taurine to a standard treatment (immunotherapy drug serplulimab plus chemotherapy) can improve outcomes for people with locally advanced stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer. About 96 adults whose tumors have a specific marker (PD-L1 positive) will be randomly assigned to receive either the taurine combination or the standard treatment alone. The main goal is to see if more tumors completely disappear after treatment with the taurine combination.
