NCT ID NCT06613542

Summary

This study tested whether taking a daily taurine supplement for six months could slow down biological aging in healthy adults aged 55 to 75. Researchers compared 90 participants who took either 4 grams of taurine or a placebo pill daily. They measured aging through blood tests, fitness assessments, and cognitive questionnaires to see if taurine made a difference.
