NCT ID NCT05361382

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study compares two different radioactive tracers used in PET scans to measure tau tangles in the brain, which are linked to Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will follow 822 people with and without memory problems over 18 months to see how well each tracer works and how their results can be used together. The goal is to improve the accuracy and consistency of brain imaging for Alzheimer's research and future clinical use.
