Summary

This study used a special brain scan (PET) to measure tau protein buildup in 81 people with primary progressive aphasia or frontotemporal dementia. The goal was to see if different types of these disorders have unique tau patterns compared to healthy controls. Participants were adults who spoke English and had a caregiver to help evaluate their daily function.
