New imaging agent could spot Alzheimer's early in chinese patients

Summary
This early-stage study is testing a radioactive tracer called [18F]Flortaucipir for PET scans in 18 Chinese adults with normal cognition, mild cognitive impairment, or Alzheimer's disease. The goal is to see if the tracer is safe and can help detect signs of Alzheimer's in the brain. Researchers will also measure how the tracer moves through the body and how much radiation it gives off.
