Scientists ask: which sore throat lozenges taste best?
NCT ID NCT07199543
Summary
This study aimed to find out which flavors of a sore throat lozenge medicine taste best to people. 120 healthy volunteers (60 adults and 60 children) tried five different flavored lozenges, holding each in their mouth for 10 seconds before spitting it out. They then rated the taste, smell, and texture using a simple questionnaire and a facial expression scale to help researchers pick the most pleasant flavor.
