Summary

This study looks at how tartaric acid, a natural compound in wine, grapes, and grape juice, is absorbed and processed by the body. Thirty healthy adults will consume each food source separately, then provide blood and urine samples over 24 hours. The goal is to see if the food matrix affects how much tartaric acid reaches the bloodstream. This is a knowledge-gathering study, not a treatment for any disease.
