New drug trial aims to keep aggressive lung cancer at bay

Summary
This study is testing whether a drug called tarlatamab can help keep limited-stage small cell lung cancer from getting worse after initial treatment. It will enroll 37 patients who have already completed a specific type of chemo-radiotherapy but were not eligible for a more intensive version. The main goal is to see if this maintenance treatment can extend the time patients live without their cancer progressing.
