Summary

This study tested whether adding the drug berzosertib to standard chemotherapy (gemcitabine) can help control a rare type of soft-tissue cancer called leiomyosarcoma. Fifty-eight adults with advanced disease that had worsened despite prior treatments took part. The main goal was to see how many patients had their tumors shrink or stay stable for at least 6 months.
