New 'Seek and Destroy' radiation treatment enters human testing for advanced lung cancer

NCT ID NCT06228482

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new two-part treatment for metastatic lung cancer. First, a special scan finds tumors that have a specific marker. Then, a radioactive treatment targets and delivers radiation directly to those cancer cells. The study aims to see if this approach is safe and if it can help control cancer growth in patients whose disease has progressed after previous treatments.
