New hope for kids with Tough-to-Treat cancers: targeted radiation trial

NCT ID NCT00107289

Summary

This study is testing a targeted radiation treatment for children and young adults whose neuroblastoma or related tumors have not responded to standard therapies. The treatment uses a radioactive drug that seeks out and delivers radiation directly to cancer cells. Researchers aim to see how well it works and how safe it is for patients who have run out of other options.
