Precision radiation zaps Hard-to-Treat tumors in new trial
NCT ID NCT02743741
Summary
This study is testing a targeted radiation treatment called Lu-DOTATATE for people with advanced neuroendocrine tumors that have continued to grow despite other treatments. The treatment uses a radioactive drug that seeks out and delivers radiation directly to tumor cells. Researchers will measure how well it controls tumor growth, monitor side effects, and track patients' quality of life over time.
