Advanced scan guides radiation battle against aggressive prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT07291557

Summary

This study is for men with high-risk prostate cancer that hasn't spread to their lymph nodes. It compares two ways of giving radiation therapy: targeting just the prostate versus also treating the entire pelvic area. Doctors will use a special PSMA scan to get a clearer picture of the cancer before deciding on the treatment plan, aiming to see which approach better controls the cancer over time.
