New hope for leukemia patients: targeted drugs enter major trial

NCT ID NCT07203352

Summary

This study is testing whether adding new targeted drugs to standard chemotherapy works better than chemotherapy alone for adults newly diagnosed with a fast-growing blood cancer called acute T-lymphocytic leukemia. About 154 patients will be randomly assigned to receive either the new combination or standard treatment. The main goal is to see if the new approach helps patients live longer and keeps the cancer from coming back.
