First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called tideglusib in people with a genetic heart condition that causes dangerous heart rhythms. The goal is to see if the drug can reduce the number of extra heartbeats and prevent serious rhythm events. About 120 adults with a confirmed genetic mutation and frequent extra heartbeats will receive either the drug or a placebo for several months.
