New heart valve implant trial offers hope for patients with severe leakage
NCT ID NCT05486832
Summary
This study is testing a new device called the Cardiovalve TR system, which is designed to replace a leaky heart valve (tricuspid valve). It will involve about 100 patients who have severe leakage and symptoms like shortness of breath. The main goals are to see if the procedure is safe and if it successfully reduces the amount of blood leaking backward in the heart.
