First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study compares two methods of giving a pain-relieving injection (called a TAP block) after a planned C-section. One method uses ultrasound to guide the needle, the other is done by the surgeon during the operation. The goal is to see which approach provides better pain control. The study will include 50 full-term pregnant women over age 21 having a planned C-section.
