First seen Jan 21, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests two ways to manage pain after open abdominal surgery in children aged 1 to 15. One method uses a nerve block (TAP-block), the other delivers numbing medicine through a small tube placed in the wound. The goal is to see which approach reduces the need for strong painkillers and helps children recover faster.
