Nerve block may speed gut recovery after Weight-Loss surgery

Summary
This study looks at whether a TAP block—a type of nerve block given during surgery—can help the stomach and intestines work better after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy. About 60 adults having weight-loss surgery will either get standard anesthesia or a TAP block. Their gut function will be checked using a patient questionnaire and an ultrasound. The goal is to see if the block reduces nausea, bloating, and other digestive issues after surgery.
