Summary

This study tested whether adding a TAP block (injecting numbing medicine into the abdominal wall) to a standard pain pump improves recovery after cesarean delivery. 83 women having planned C-sections were randomly assigned to get either the TAP block plus pain pump or the pump alone. Researchers measured pain scores and how much extra pain medicine was needed.
