First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at how compounds from mangoes (gallotannins) and a probiotic called Lactiplantibacillus pentosus affect gut bacteria and inflammation in people with obesity. Researchers will use stool samples from 20 volunteers (lean and obese) to test these effects in the lab. The goal is to understand how these natural substances might help reduce inflammation linked to obesity.
