Pill may shorten recovery time after surgery
NCT ID NCT04597372
Summary
This study is testing if a medication called tamsulosin can help women who have trouble urinating after pelvic reconstructive surgery. Researchers will compare the drug to a placebo (inactive pill) in 154 women to see if it shortens the time they need a catheter. The goal is to help patients recover bladder function faster and potentially reduce complications like infections.
