Summary
This study tested whether a quick ankle manipulation (a high-velocity, low-amplitude traction) can change muscle structure in people who had a stroke at least six months ago. 36 participants received both the real manipulation and a placebo in random order. Researchers used ultrasound to measure muscle angles in the calf and shin. The goal is to see if this technique could help with ankle movement and rehabilitation.
