Summary

This study tests a phone-based coaching program called Talking About Cancer (TAC) to help people with advanced cancer and their support person have important conversations about future medical care. The program, delivered by a social worker, aims to reduce distress and help patients complete advance directives like living wills. Researchers will enroll 80 patients and their caregivers to see if the program is feasible and acceptable.
