NCT ID NCT06839287

Summary

This study tested whether a special type of counseling could help people receiving long-term dialysis. For eight weeks, half of the 48 participants received weekly talk therapy focused on relationships and coping, while the other half received their usual care. Researchers wanted to see if the counseling improved how people adjusted to their illness and reduced feelings of depression.
