First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at whether the Talk Test—a method where patients exercise just enough to still speak comfortably—can safely replace standard lab tests for prescribing exercise in home-based cardiac rehab. Forty adults who recently had heart surgery or a stent procedure will be monitored virtually. The goal is to see if this simple approach is effective and safe for guiding recovery at home.
