Summary

This Phase 3 study tested whether an oral medication called TAK-861 could help people with Narcolepsy Type 1. About 105 participants took either the real pill or a placebo for 12 weeks. Researchers measured if it improved their ability to stay awake during the day and reduced sudden episodes of muscle weakness (cataplexy), while checking for side effects.
