New treatment tested for rare nerve disease that causes weakness

Summary
This study is testing whether a modified form of immunoglobulin called TAK-411 can improve physical function and reduce symptoms in adults with CIDP, a rare autoimmune disease that damages nerves and causes muscle weakness. About 36 participants who have previously responded to standard immunoglobulin treatment will receive TAK-411 for up to one year. The main goal is to see if the treatment helps participants perform daily activities better by measuring changes in their disability scores.
