Summary
This study looked at whether measuring certain immune cells (CD5+ regulatory B cells) after initial treatment could help doctors decide who needs ongoing therapy for ANCA vasculitis, a rare blood vessel disease. The idea was that patients whose immune cells recovered well might safely stop maintenance drugs. However, the study was terminated early with only 9 participants, so no firm conclusions can be drawn.
