Could a pill replace chemo for some breast cancer patients?

Summary
This study tests whether a combination of two hormone-targeting drugs (ribociclib and letrozole) can work as well as chemotherapy before surgery for postmenopausal women with a common type of breast cancer (hormone receptor positive, HER2 negative). About 100 women with stage II or III breast cancer will be randomly assigned to receive either the drug combination or standard chemotherapy. The main goal is to see if the drug combination stops cancer cells from growing more effectively than chemotherapy.
