Doctors test Custom-Fit surgery for lasting weight loss
NCT ID NCT07289555
Summary
This study is testing a personalized version of a weight loss surgery called SADI-S. Surgeons will measure each patient's small intestine during the operation and adjust the procedure length based on their specific anatomy. The goal is to see if this tailored approach leads to better, safer weight loss and health improvements with fewer long-term nutritional problems. The study will follow 40 adults with severe obesity for at least a year after their surgery.
