Personalized workouts may be key to fighting frailty in older adults
NCT ID NCT06449716
Summary
This study tested a new, personalized approach to strength training for older adults. Researchers wanted to see if tailoring exercises to each person's unique muscle profile was better than a standard one-size-fits-all program at preventing age-related declines in strength and mobility. The 12-week program involved 80 participants aged 65-80 and measured improvements in leg power and everyday activities like walking and standing up.
