Summary
This study tested whether Tai Chi, a gentle mind-body exercise, could help reduce chronic symptoms in Veterans with Gulf War Illness. Researchers compared 12 weeks of Tai Chi classes to wellness education in 114 Veterans. They measured changes in pain, fatigue, thinking skills, and quality of life to see if Tai Chi offered more relief.
