Scientists test how elite taekwondo fighters handle different training intensities
NCT ID NCT07395414
Summary
This study aimed to understand how elite taekwondo athletes' bodies and minds respond to different high-intensity combat training formats. Researchers measured 20 experienced national-level athletes' heart rates, fatigue levels, and jump performance during simulated fights with varying work and rest periods. The goal was to gather knowledge about athlete recovery and exertion, not to test a treatment or cure.
