Summary
This study tested whether tadalafil, a drug often used for erectile dysfunction, could prevent nerve damage caused by docetaxel chemotherapy in 90 men with metastatic prostate cancer. Participants either took tadalafil every two days alongside their chemo or received standard care alone. The goal was to see if tadalafil could reduce numbness, tingling, or pain in the hands and feet, a common side effect that can limit treatment.
