New study tests better Fluid-Fighting cocktails for heart failure patients

Summary

This study looks at three different ways to remove extra fluid in people with worsening heart failure. Participants will receive intravenous furosemide alone, or combined with either acetazolamide or hydrochlorothiazide. The goal is to see which combination works best and is safest for outpatient treatment.
