Nanoparticle-Radiation combo targets rare cancer recurrence
NCT ID NCT07578506
First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026
Summary
This early-phase study tests whether injecting tiny tantalum particles into tumors before radiation is safe for people with a rare, returning soft tissue sarcoma in the abdomen. Nine adults with specific sarcoma types will receive increasing doses to find the safest level. The goal is to control the disease, not cure it, as lifelong monitoring is still needed.
