First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests a program called T1CARE that connects young adults with type 1 diabetes to a community health navigator who helps them resolve social needs like food, housing, or transportation. About 100 participants will be randomly assigned to get the navigator right away or after a waiting period. The goal is to see if this support reduces diabetes-related distress and improves well-being.
