New approach for breast cancer patients struggling with chemotherapy side effect
NCT ID NCT07257809
Summary
This study is testing whether the breast cancer drug T-DM1 can be safely given to patients who previously developed low platelet counts (thrombocytopenia) from chemotherapy. Researchers will enroll 56 breast cancer patients whose platelet counts have recovered after experiencing this side effect. The main goal is to see if T-DM1 treatment can continue without causing severe platelet problems again.
