Head-to-Head chemo showdown for rare lymphoma
NCT ID NCT07258680
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This phase 3 trial compares four different chemotherapy combinations to see which works best as a first treatment for peripheral T-cell lymphoma. About 114 newly diagnosed patients will receive one of the regimens, and researchers will measure how many achieve complete remission and track side effects. The goal is to find the most effective and safest option to guide future treatment.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
chemotherapy drugs (doxorubicin, vincristine, etoposide, cyclophosphamide, prednisone, brentuximab vedotin)
What this could lead to
If successful, this trial could identify the most effective and least toxic first-line chemotherapy regimen for peripheral T-cell lymphoma, improving outcomes for newly diagnosed patients.
What could go wrong
This is a single-center study with only 114 participants, so results may not apply to all patients. Chemotherapy side effects can be severe, and the best regimen may still have limited long-term success.
