Study tests One-Shot syphilis treatment for HIV patients

NCT ID NCT05980871

Summary

This study compared two antibiotic combinations for treating early syphilis in people living with HIV. Researchers wanted to see if a single-dose injection plus a week of pills worked as well as the standard treatment. The goal was to find a convenient option that might also treat other common infections at the same time.
