New Finger-Prick syphilis test put to the test
NCT ID NCT05831098
Summary
This study tested a new, rapid finger-prick test for syphilis at a Vancouver sexual health clinic. Researchers compared its accuracy to the standard blood test used in routine care. About 600 adult patients participated by giving a small finger-prick blood sample for the new test, alongside their regular blood draw.
