Summary

This study is checking if a new rapid test, using just a drop of blood from a fingerstick, can accurately diagnose syphilis. About 1,300 people visiting a sexual health clinic in Ottawa will take part. The goal is to see if this quick test works as well as the standard lab test, which could help doctors diagnose and treat syphilis faster.
