First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study compares two types of surgical slings—one made from synthetic mesh and one from the patient's own tissue—to treat stress urinary incontinence in women aged 60 and older. Researchers will track pain and cure rates for up to five years after surgery. The goal is to find which approach offers better long-term results with fewer side effects.
