New injection aims to tame dangerous inherited cholesterol

Summary
This study is testing an investigational injection called SYH2053 to see if it can effectively lower 'bad' cholesterol in adults with a genetic condition that causes very high cholesterol levels (HeFH). About 135 participants will receive either the injection or a placebo, in addition to their standard cholesterol medications and diet. The main goal is to measure the change in cholesterol levels after nearly a year of treatment.
