New injection aims to fight devastating weight loss in cancer patients

Summary
This is an early-stage study to check the safety and find the right dose of an experimental injection called SXRN. It is for adults with advanced cancer who are experiencing severe, unintentional weight loss and loss of appetite, known as cachexia. The study will first test SXRN alone, and then test it in combination with standard cancer treatments.
