New drug trial seeks to control rare blood cancer
NCT ID NCT04245397
Summary
This early-stage study aims to find a safe and effective dose of an experimental drug called SX-682 for patients with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), a type of blood cancer. Researchers will test SX-682 alone and combined with another drug, decitabine, in up to 151 adults whose prior treatments have failed or who have not yet received standard therapy. The main goals are to determine the highest dose patients can tolerate without severe side effects and to see if the treatment helps control the disease.
