This study looked at whether switching from regular cigarettes to e-cigarettes improves health in adults with newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes. Researchers analyzed health records from over 130,000 people in South Korea. They compared rates of heart problems and diabetes complications between those who kept smoking and those who switched to e-cigarettes.
